Michael Jackson's death last week has left fans with questions regarding all aspects of the singer's life. Pet lovers in particular may wonder about the fate of Jackson's menagerie of exotic animals, especially the most famous of them all: Bubbles the chimp.

Bubbles, of all of Jackson's pets, was probably the closest to Jackson. His 1985 adoption of the chimp from a Texas research facility, and the subsequent bond between man and ape became a key part of the singer's eccentric persona. Bubbles often was seen at Jackson's side as a member of Jackson's entourage during the peak of the entertainer's fame in the 1980s. He attended concerts, album recording sessions, and tea parties at Elizabeth Taylor's house. That is, when he wasn't kicking it in high style at Jackson's Neverland ranch, practicing his moonwalk.

Now in his mid-twenties, Bubbles still lives a stylish life, although much less in the blinding spotlight of his glitzy early years. As he matured, Bubbles became too aggressive for domestic life with the Jackson family and was given to a California-based animal trainer who later entrusted the chimp's care to the Center for Great Apes, a sanctuary for "retired" apes in Wauchula, Florida, where he resides today.

What about the rest of MJ's personal zoo?

As Neverland dissolved in the early 2000s, the animals were sent to all corners of the world. According to E! Online, some of them are now, like their chimp sibling, living comfortable lives in various animal sanctuaries. Thriller and Sabu, Michael's tigers, can be found at the Shambala Preserve, a refuge for all manner of big cats in Acton, California. Shabala Preserve is run by Tippi Hedren, a former Hitchcock leading lady and Melanie Griffith's mom. "Thriller and Sabu always remind us of Michael," Hedren said in a statement.

Rikki, Jackson's beloved Yellow Nape Amazon parrot, along with the majority of the animals that were taken from Neverland, spend their time at the Banjoko Wildlife Preserve in Page, Arizona.

Who was your favorite pet from the Jacko clan?

The world does not want to know Michael Jackson's personal business. We just want to remember him as the King that He Was And Will Always be. Like his father said Everyone should have been treating him this way while he was alive. Now that he is dead everyong is acting like he wasn't this great when he was alive. Please leave him and his personal life. If you really care about him respect as the King he will always be.

Would you let your kids stay the night in his house? Mabe you should ask yourself that question before you rag on someone for speaking there mind.

I totally agree, the death of micheal jackson will not go away for quite sometime. Especially by these entertainment shows. The death of ana nicole smith was a topic of thier shows almost three months after her death. Her life story repeated over and over and over again till I got tired seeing it.

Heather#6 Heather6-30-2009 @ 10:29PM

I would not let my children spend the night with him just like i would not let my child spend the night with any other person. He came in contact with thousands of children, yet only 3 accused him, maybe they were victims of MENTAL ABUSE caused by their parents greed. I hope he finds some peace, if he was innocent, just imagine being falsy accused of such a thing.

Michael,
When I was young, my family took me to see you in concert in the 80's. It was the best concert I ever saw and I have been to many. You were an artist, truely. You had a talent and a gift. The past was the past and regardless of what the tabloids said then and now, you were a man first and formost. You were not perfect. You made tens of thousands of people happy with your music. It was because of you that I myself became involved with music. I hope you have finally found the peace you needed and can finally put your broken body to rest. For all you have given us over the years, not that it means much, but thank you. Your loving fan always....
Jim

YOU ARE INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILITY LET THE MAN REST IN PEACE UNLESS YOUR ONE OF THE LITTLE BOYS AN NO FOR A FACT . THIS COULD BE HAPPENING IN YOUR BACK YARD AN YOU WOULDNT NO . SO UNLESS YOU WAS THERE. THERE IS A DOUBT. PEOPLE WILL DO ANYTHING FOR MONEY . AN PAYING OFF 20 MILLION TO SAVE YOUR CAREER AN PUBLICITY WAS LIKE 20.00 DOLLARS TO HIM . KINDA LIKE THE LADY WHO SUED MCDONALDS CAUSE THE COFFEE WAS TO HOT .

Those of you who are calling Michael a pedophile and vice versa, you should maybe shut up and mind your own business.
He was never found guilty, therefore in a court of law that means he didnt commit the crime for those of you too dumb to realize this.
Michael Jackson was stripped of his childhood by his father and Michael has helped so many children in need especially a kid who had AIDS when he was born, he welcomed him and his family to the ranch and gave his family money so it would pay for his treatments since the government wouldnt.
Michael Jackson was and is always going to be the King of Pop and nobody will ever be able to measure up to his heights of stardom, guaranteed.

Let him rest in peace and let God judge Michael for himself whether or not he is guilty or innocent of the crimes he was accused of.

Those of you saying he did molest children have no proof and its not your place to say so.

R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson.

Michael Jackson was the greatest entertainer and a part of our lives. He was always in my life. I watched him when he started. I was young and loved him and have never stopped and never will. Thank you Michael for all the music and good things you gave us. I still cant believe it and will always remember the good things. Part of my life is gone. People need to stop saying bad things and it hurts me like it hurt you. It needs to stop now that you are not here. It is bad enough that it happened while you were alive. You were the greatest and your legacy will never be forgotten. Thank you. You were a wonderful wonderful man and we will always know and remember that

Michael J was a gift from God. When ever someone like him passes away, we then realize how lucky we were to have had his talent and personality. We will truly miss him and all that he gave us. May you now be with God where you will have the happiness you didn't have here on earth. Love, Emilie

The only thru is that Michael was a loving father with HIS KIDS!!!!!
no matter is he was o no the "biological father" I bet he was the best father in the world : Who of your farhers cares for teaching at 7yo learn to speak three lenguages?
He was agood father, and genius in the music buisness, he was afraid of us, the public, the press, even after his dead trying to make him look like a freak.
WE ARE NOT PERFECT! NO BODY IS!! We all take drugs that's the AMERICAN way, drugs for sleep, drugs to keep you awake, drugs for energy, drugs for love, drugs for pain, drugs for relax, drugs to eat , drugs to stop eating, we all take them in certain amount, we all have someting to hide.
Stop searching for "more defects" he is dead let him rest in peace

Now his kids going to be in the spot light and may be treated like him , and that of course "these kids are like their Dad" and they never are going to be left alone.....
People stop been cruel to Michael whatever he was'

Before we said something we need to take a mirror and look at our selfs first.!

being a big animal lover I think that the world not only lost a great musical talent but also a great humantiran, rest in peace Mike.

Celestina#17 Celestina7-01-2009 @ 5:25AM

A great humanitarian? He collected these poor animals for his own gratification and then DUMPED them when they didn't suit his needs anymore. He probably would have ended up doing the same thing with those 3 kids that he BOUGHT. You people are so naive. He was a monster--no mourning here.
