Cats aren't known for being as excitable as their canine counterparts, but this kitten takes disinterested to a whole new level. As she lazily paws around her cage and looks at the camera with irritation, her strange meow sounds as if she's dismissing everything with an indignant "meh."

I want this kitty!
Why is this sweet little kitten in a cage???? It sould be out playing in the house.
sounds like he is saying ah ah ah
She does not sound irritated to me, she sounds like she is just a baby.
I have a cat that meowed just like that as a kitten. Such a sad little sound. He was a poor abused kitten, skin and bones ,going to be 'put down' at a 'shelter'. I adopted him and as an adult he has developed a more 'normal' voice.
We adopted a black and white "tuxedo" from a shelter and she, too, had a similar meow. Now that she is growing up, it is changing. She is part Siamese and I think that has something to do with the unusual "mew"; they definitely have a distinct call. Especially the females. If you've ever raised or been around one in heat, you know what I mean. LOL. It's a call you don't soon forget.
Maybe she's trying to be so cute her caretaker will let her out of the cage. She needs to be out so she can be a kitten. Playing - Jumping - Running.
