The "How much do you spend on your pet?" photo is very lovely but.... those sure look like CHOCOLATE candies to me. Remember chocolate is forbidden for dogs to eat, and like myself. as of a few years ago. folks may not realize it can be deadly. thanks
Don't worry, it is most likely carob, a chocolate substitute. It is safe for dogs and typically used in dog treats. My dog, Shelby, loves it!

Fluffy was the unsung hero of TV pets. She hung around the set of Lassie, and whenever Lassie was stressed, Fluffy would sniff her private area and Lassie would quickly calm down.

When someone comes to the front door, my lil dog will bark and run to the family room then back to the door, then back to the family room..as if to tell us someone is at the door. We always laugh and say" what's wrong Lassie, did Timmy fall in the well". Most AOL subscribers are probabl to young to get it...

My favorite pets are Austin the Sheltie and Charlie the Basset Hound they are stars of their own children books and spend their time reading to children. Pets are wonderful especially when they can do something positive for children. They are worth every penny spent on them.
